FARUKH Z. FAROOQI

Farukh Farooqi has spent a dozen years on the Sell-Side and the Buy-Side.

Prior to founding Marquis Research, he was a Senior Analyst at Kellogg Capital Group, responsible for generating investment ideas for the Special Situations Group and he also worked closely with the risk-arbitrage desk.

Before joining Kellogg, he was a Senior Analyst at Jefferies & Company.  He spearheaded Jefferies' post-reorg effort and published the monthly Post-Bankruptcy Monitor.   

He was acknowledged for his work in the post-bankruptcy space by The Deal (click to read article).

Previously, he was an equity analyst at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch where he conducted research on industrial companies.  His group was #1 or #2 ranked by Institutional Investor Magazine for many years.

He holds a BS in Accounting from University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business.  He served as a member of Actrade Liquidating Trust Committee representing Kellogg Capital Group.
